About
My name is Jaell Ramey
I am a sequential artist and creative from Northeast Georgia. I’ve wanted to be an artist for as long as I can remember. When I was little, my mother published a children’s book, showing me the magic of bringing stories to life. I fell in love with animation, especially shows like Adventure Time, We Bare Bears, OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, and many more. I would draw my favorite characters constantly, which led me to create my own. At 10, my older brother introduced me to digital art, opening up an entirely new world of creativity. From picture books to animation to webcomics, I kept chasing that spark, and every new story only made it burn brighter.
Art has been a constant in my life, getting me through both tough times and happy moments. I love it in all its forms—not just drawing but also music. I was part of my high school’s marching band and art club, and I even created designs for our band, which allowed me to mix my creativity with something I loved being part of.
More than anything, I want to create stories where anyone can see themselves—whether it’s through comics, illustration, or character design. I believe in the power of storytelling to connect people, and I want my work to reflect the diversity and experiences of all kinds of audiences.
